Holy Smokes! Elizabeth Moffitt.....just doubled in two runs....Mean Green ahead 5-4 in the top of the 7th. Still batting....two outs....runner on 2nd. -

Memphis can get good games for OlC play because of their reputation and the recruiting base. While we provide the recruiting base, we share it with two power conference teams that a loss doesn’t hurt as much as to us. -

Down 4-0 early on to Georgia Tech....we've clawed back to make a 4-3 deficit. GT batting with one on, one out in the bottom of the 6th. Skylar has pitched the entire game for us....so far. -

Our OOC schedule greatly needs improved. Memphis is receiving accolades because they are 5-2 in Quad 1 games; most all were OOC scheduled games. It's sad we could end up 26-7 after the AAC Tourney and still be left out of the NCAA Tourney, due to our poor OOC scheduling. -

Softball: Alex Wilcox Memorial, Starkville, MS (2/14-16/2025)
Nice 8-0 run rule win over Bradley. Annica Anderson with the 6 inning shutout. She's now 4-1. Big stick of the day....Elizabeth Moffitt with a three run homer. Also....we were active on the basepaths with 6 steals. I think the first hits of the season for Taylor Platt and Sofia Schow. (both haven't played much or at all in Schow's case) Now on to Ga Tech at 11:30- 1
