Are there any bars close by the stadium that fans will be pregaming at Saturday night? I assumed the UNT tailgate would be free like last year and don't really want to drop the extra bucks for it. Bring a group of 12 so a free tailgate or bar would be better for us. Thanks and Go Mean Green!

That free tailgate last year was epic. Best event I've been to put on by the alumni association.

I guess they don't want to lose their sh*t for a second year in a row!

Green Gator is right next to the stadium. Probably the closest Bar and they have good cajun food

It may be hard to go to a bar and spend less than $25 for food and drinks.

100% this. Nowhere you can have all you can eat and drink for $25.

It's an amazing deal for what you get. Not sure why anyone would want to do anything different.
