Not as a HC.

...at least, not at the FBS level right now.   Maybe a FCS or lower school if he's interested now, or maybe after resurrecting his coaching spirit as OC or RBs coach somewhere for a few years.

EDIT:  Like UIW's opening after Kinne's hiring would be something he should consider if he wants to remain a HC right now.

However, they may look at it as now he has HC experience.

He took over a 1-11 team and got them to 6 bowls in 7 years....at a school that has been very hard to win at.

Then they ask themselves, what could he do here with a fresh start and our support system?   

Time will tell.

Rumors are that he doesn't want to be a head coach and would rather be an NFL analyst... Again just rumors.

Kent State coach Sean Lewis?

Lacks any Texas connections whatsoever as far as I can tell, but is otherwise awesome. Was said to become Colorados next OC, but somehow the confirmation / signature on the dotted line was not really confirmed as far as I can tell, which is weird and engendered speculation

History has repeatedly shown that UNT head coaches need to keep their options open.
