Doesn’t he work for Neal Brown at WVU today?  Will be curious how Wren addresses their fball situation.

No.

No first time head coaches.

No retreads.

I really don't have an issue with retreads if it's the right retreads. Dan Mac not working out here doesn't mean there aren't a lot of great coaches out there with a lot of valuable HC experience that would do well with another opportunity IMO.

I am not sure what is left.  I guess only current head coaches?  Kind of a limited field.

I have a better idea, try to hire the best potential HC available.

We should but we won't.

The opportunity for that was last year.   You can't let Seth langiush here and then bring in his protegee.  I would love to have him back if we went with one of the few big name defensive background experience head coaches out there.  Being Head Coach here takes a lot more than good X & O background.

What was Kirby Smart before he became a head coach, or was he just hatched out as one.

You can't be serious.  Kirby Smart spent over 7 years under Saban.   Harrell  coaching experience has been under Seth, Clay Helton,  Neal Brown and one year under Leach.   Not remotely I the same ballpark when it comes to grooming.
