We didn't run for damn near a yard last time, and the passing game and defense did enough that we lost on the last play. Shoulda won that sucker. If we can run even a little and everyone else plays to that same level, we have a damn good shot.

I think the key is gonna be withstanding the early punch. That crowd is gonna be big, and UTSA will want to come out fast. Strike first, control the game, take the wind out their sails.

Punch ‘em in the throat. Let’s go “Slap Shot” on them for just this 1 game.

Their RB killed us last game. I believe he is out with an injury. This could make a big difference. GMG

I'm gonna look up Harris' numbers.  He is on a tear.  What were his numbers in our first game? How has he been doing in their most recent 3 games?

If they load the box, Aune has to hit the receivers. If they play straight up, our running game will succeed, UTSA will make adjustments, then Aune will need to make good passes.
Hope Gaddie and Mazin are back.  Looking forward to a great game!

This. Like WKU, UAB, and the last UTsa game, it all rides on Aune’s accuracy. When he is at 50 percent, we lose.
