With the announcement of New Mexico State becoming bowl eligible, CBS updated their bowl predictions (the most notable bowl predictor)

North Texas was moved into the Myrtle Beach Bowl against South Alabama...

 

I like this matchup and I love the location for the players. Great place to make a new memory and accomplish something special! I'm sure the players get tired of playing in Texas for bowl games every single year. Nothing wrong with Texas, just kinda defeats the purpose of bowl games when you're constantly playing them in your backyard.

The best thing about these lower tier bowls is the extra practice time.

They've, uh, played there. At least a good majority of them have. App State made us call them daddy.

Ir we are going to lose, lose to some team with a lot more sizzle than USA...no brand name nationally.
