This man deserves an extension.  He has gotten you into another conference championship and overcome some terrible injuries and yet this team is together like never before!

Just do the right damn thing and give this guy what he has coming to him.  What he has earned.

This is going to be a tough one for Wren because I believe he really wants to keep Seth and avoid conflict with the big money donors. However, if we head to the American and don't win then Seth needs to go along with Wren

Wren has already hired the one of the greatest coaches UNT has ever had.

Yes, I know how long he has sat on SL, I also still think about that extra year with Benford, but I still want to give him an opportunity to hire a coach in our most visible sport.

He seems super conservative about firings, but nails it when it comes to bringing in new blood.

This. Wren is screwed. He pisses off a bunch of big money guys who love Seth for some reason, but if he doesn’t do it now and then we get crushed in AAC completion, he’ll go out with Seth next year. Better do it now. To me, the only way Seth should survive from here is to run the table - win a title on Friday, and then win our bowl game.

I think we could all agree if he makes a hire in football, whenever the time comes, like he did in basketball it would be incredible

You forget this is Texas... People don't understand UNT isn't a power 5 school. With what UNT has to work with, a bowl appearance every season is truly a miracle.

This. 100% this. If Wren rides into the AAC with SL he is marrying his career to SL. They will then be one and the same.

I would not give him an extension if we don't fire him.  Let him play next year under his current contract and see how that turns out. It will be a long season.

So are you saying  Wren will be Vice President and Head Football Coach?
