Aune does the single dumbest thing I’ve seen in years by eating it on a 5 yard loss…then throws a straight up dime to a WIDE OPEN Shorter for a TD.  
 

So, as long as Shorter and Gumms get wide open, Aune may have a career day 😂

Once again, a bad team just decides to load the box and not let us run.   Not only can we not run, we can’t make them pay except for one long pass play helped by completely broken coverage. That one play is about all we have done on offense.  uTSA is going to do the same Friday and blow us out.

A very meh performance so far.  I believe Rice operating today with a 3rd string inexperienced QB.   We are at home with a conference championship game appearance on the line.  And we have a more talented roster.  🤷🏽‍♂️

What was that crazy thing Rice just did when they got down to the 1 yard line.  They did this play where the QB takes the snap from directly behind the center!
