If Littrell beats Bye, should he get an extension?

I said this before, SL is not great, but hes not terrible either... So I wouldn't let him go with out knowing for sure that I had someone better to replace him.

Actually, no.  In my opinion he can't beat BYE, he can only tie them; which brings us back to a .500 coach and we all agree that we want better.

What can I say. This now enters into reality. NTclearly beat the bye,  as it now doesn't even even necessarily needs to beat Rice to make the championship game. A home-win by FAU over WKU would do it thanks to the result in NTs bye week. Can hardly beat the bye more soundly.

New coaches don't always improve things, in fact most dont, just look around college football.  Its not like we are talking about a 2 win team that cant do any worse, this is a winning program, and the wrong coach could set this program way back.
