Sad, that in year 7 we are counting on beating a very bad team to give us hope of winning the conference and keeping a .500 coach

This is EXACTLY what everyone should understand about the state of our football team.

Let's be honest about this loss. UNT lost because Littrell and company got out-coached. UAB made the halftime adjustments and scored 24 points in the second half, while UNT didn't and scored 0 points. Our players either didn't do what they were told... were never told to do what they needed to do... or didn't understand what they were being told to do. Any way you slice it, our players didn't make the plays, and the blame falls on our coaches. You can't polish a turd. This loss is what it is.

UNT is still a team that is not ready to compete against an AAC schedule next year. Beating the crap out of FIU last week was great, but it was just FIU. WKU (7-4) is still the only winning team Littrell and company have beaten this season. And, 3 of our 5 loses were to teams that currently have records of .500 or worse. Only 3 of C-USA's 11 teams have winning records right now. And only 3 teams on our 12 game schedule currently have winning records. Even with this incredibly weak schedule, we are struggling to back into a spot in the conference title game. Every Mean Green fan should be concerned about what we saw today.

I know this isn't the most important part of your post but technically.....

Time for the "We could do worse than Seth" fans to regroup and explain why thanks to no divisions we can still get to the conference championship game and that shows how were improving.

Exactly losing to 2 out of 3 quality CUSA West Division teams each season (La Tech , UTSA and UAB) is typical for Seth led Mean Green teams.  The only year we made an appearance in the title game we swept those teams I believe.

We have young talent.  Most of our losses are squarely on coaching.  Also Seth is horrible in late game situations in close games. HORRIBLE.  He constantly makes the wrong move. He has the talent to beat the bad teams , not good enough coach to beat good teams. We never saw Earle at qb yesterday.

I came in and we were down 14-0 and we came back with 21 points and made it look easy.  Remember the first drive in the bowl game last year- we look unstoppable.  Then the wheels just fall off.   I never understood how we can look so good in a game at times and so bad a few plays later.
