Plenty of optimism around here.  UAB just took UTSA to double overtime, and they have yet to lose a game by more than 7 points.  We can win this, but I have a hard time predicting a blowout win.

NT  35

UAB  31

They've also lost to two teams (FAU, WKU) we blew out. I think UAB tried to make their last stand against UTSA and could be mentally broken.

True on the first, possibly on the second.  But it seems those who aren't looking at this game through green-tinted goggles (which I admittedly am) are generally picking UAB to win.

We're going to see which rushing attack reigns supreme in C-USA after this one (UAB's rushing attack ranks ahead of ours at #6 in FBS, while we're #14).
NT is pretty banged-up.
UAB playing at home where they're 4-1 on the season.
I don't like how this one is lining up.

UNT: 27
UAB: 33

Much of this will come down if we are healthy at RB, Shorter (haven't seen any updates on him), and which QB plays better.  Haters are gonna hate but Aune has been solid the last many weeks.  I'll take the Mean Green in a close one.

UNT - 27

UAB - 24

Man this is a tough one - they get their starting QB back, they lost to UTSA, they are very sharp at home, all bad things!
Our RB room is down right now somewhat, their RB concerns me and which Aune do we get ?

I guess we will see if the bunch we have has Truly got locked in over the last two weeks - seems reasonable but I’m struggling a little on this game😕

Mean Green 35

UTSA 31

To me it’s who controls the line of scrimmage since both play a physical brand of football 🏈

Why are we playing UTSA again?

He’s just getting a step ahead of everyone with his prediction for the championship game.

According to ESPN, UNT has the #6 offense in the nation while UAB has the #28 offense (yards/game).

However on defense... UAB is ranked #34 and our beloved Mean Green are #118.  😞

We better be ready to score some serious points!!
