Because he is a package quarterback. As far as we know Gunnell is still the backup taking snaps behind Aune.

So God forbid Aune was to get hurt, but we would only run 'package" plays? Seth did the same thing when Mason was here and then when we were forced to used backups they were not ready

Has anyone heard a return from injury update on the 2 running backs that missed this game?  With Ayo hobbled we need at least one of them back  for the UAB game.   You want UAB game planning to stop run so Aune is passing into big windows.

Adaway is done. Broken ankle. Unknown on Johnson as far as I know.

Love the dominance today, but this opponent is really bad.  I hope everyone knows that this wasn’t nearly as complete of a game as the score appears!  We are going Bowling!  And we have a really great chance at a championship game!

Next week is obviously a massive game.  Even with the injuries it's tough not to be excited looking ahead.

Would be great to win next week and lock in our conference championship appearance before the Bye week and Rice game. 2-3 weeks to prepare for UTSA would be clutch.
