That was the worst non targeting call I've seen against us. It's just as bad, but probably worse than the 2 non calls in the New Orleans Bowl against Troy. It's as blatantly obvious as those, but worse because of the potential long term injury resulting from it.

So we have all seen some marginal calls but this was blatant and or deliberate- all helmet and bs on lead with shoulder - referees need to be called on the carpet - this is about player safety.

His injury from the end of last week, no?

Ahh, I forgot he rolled his ankle. Have no idea about the severity.

Oscar is done for the year with a broken ankle.

That's awful.   He did such a great job coming back from the injury last season, just to be put out again by a cheap shot.

Yep. Targeting reversal and this is the result. I want to know who the replay official was and his explanation. They didn’t even review it that long. Still pissed off.

watch it and only thing I could see was he never lowered his head and led with the crown, but it was an unnecessary hit and Adaway was already pinned. Sucks his season is finished because of a cheap shot

If you look up targeting the Webster dictionary -the y would show this a prime example.  I don't know how those clowns could say there was no targeting.  Player is wrapped up and the player comes in helmet to helmet and launched to hit him.

Only thing worse than the CUSA conference is the CUSA officials.
