Speaking of BYU, they got pounded last week at Liberty, who then gave Hugh Freeze an 8-year, fully guaranteed $40 million extension.

The contract is fully guaranteed on Liberty's end, but sources indicate the buyout would not be prohibitive should a Power 5 program come after Freeze.  Per Footballscoop.com

If you can stomach his sleezyness, then you can argue he deserved said contract. The results were there, fairly consistently. And since the school giving the contract has decent money and its own sleezyness, I doubt it was a hindrance for them.

We have a few who could probably start at ECU, but we need a whole bunch more. No surprises with that, but we need to get started & NIL as well as Transfer Portal would be a good start.

Recruiting?
I remember the late Hayden Fry once said if he could just get them on the North Texas campus that he could sign his fair share of blue chippers.  I specifically think of the Burks Washington, Ken Washington, etc. recruiting class.  From that class would be a team that would beat a 7 & 4 Southeast Conference school (among other notable schools).
