He is in line with the downslope of the R. His first two steps are up the line. If he continues on the same trajectory his 3rd step should land around the middle (width wise) of the white “I” section of the R and vertically halfway up the blue D-shaped dot of the R. His path is altered due to the pushoff and the 3rd step ends up at the top of that blue D-shaped dot instead.

Thank you for the description.  I can see this now as you advise.  Not that it matters but can Coach Littrell file a grievance with the conference?  He may not win it but it could help set us up well if there is indeed a rematch.
