UTSA made a nice gain through the air but the clock operator didn't realize it was 2nd and 24, not 10. Incorrectly stopped the clock for a few seconds allowing UTSA to think they snapped the ball with two seconds left. Those two seconds would have ran off had the clock been running to begin with.

I would like to see the specifics of the "rule" they cited when the refs called halftime, though.

They just spoke about it on the telecast, the sideline judge had a running clock and said it was 17 sec from playing ending to the spike, well above the 8 sec that were left.

well kick me in the nuts, good grief, not a good way to start if it holds up.
