I want to think happy thoughts, but . . .

1. Their QB is better

2. Their WR corps is solid, and they are likely to exploit our secondary

3. They're an overall better team that has played good opponents tough.

4. They're much better than UNLV.

5. They're at home, should have a good crowd.

etc.

I'm giving us a little bump because we've played better lately, but I'll still go with . . .

UTSA  42

North Texas  31

Hope I'm wrong!

If they are legitimately down several DL we'll win TOP by a landslide. If we can do that we win by 2 or 3 scores. If not, they get us by 2 or 3 scores.

TOP:

UNT - 41 TO 19 = UNT win. 41-27

If TOP drops under 35 for UNT, UTSA wins. 41-27

TOP is the biggest stat of this game, IMO.

Heart says - NT 35 - UTSA 31 - Reason - we control time due to superior running game and we don’t turn the ball over.

Brain says - UTSA 38 - NT 21  Reason - their passing attack hurts us bad.
