Report: Quarterback Mason Fine to start for Riders - CFL.ca

Saskatchewan is 2-9 since starting 4-1 this season. At 6-10, their only route to the playoffs is claiming the cross-over spot in the terrible East division. Time for Fine to shine!

Mason has completed 67% of his 42 passes in four games this year for 328 yards, 3 TD's and 2 INT's.

Happy for Mason but this is a curious call. Fajardo has, at least statistically, been playing well. 

Hope Mason can put in a great game and set himself for more opportunities in the future.

CFL can be a fun watch sometimes but the regular season feels so worthless with that many playoff spots. They should go single table and just have a championship between the top 2. Crossover spot in the east with a 7-10 record? Blegh.

SSK is not playing well this year. Thank goodness for Mason his coach is willing to take a chance to try and shake things up.

SSK has no defense and a poor OL.  Getting blown up now 32-14.  Mason has taken some tough hits but keeps getting back up again, just like old days.

What was nice to see again on a couple plays that didn't go so well, Mason still popped up and had that smile on his face.

That beating was hard to watch, much like the beating he took when he was here. Imagine what he could do with the line we have now.
