Swear several years ago this same subject was addressed about late kicks offs hurting student attendance. Thought was late games drove students away cause they want Saturday night for other things...party or whatever.

Personally...those afternoon games kept me home when my kids had Sat afternoon sporting events.

It shouldn’t matter, but I don’t think playing in the middle of the day is helping us. This game should have kicked off at 6 pm. Guarantee the student turnout would have been better.

I think that is delusionally optimistic.  I couldn't give away my extra season tickets 4 out of the 6 home games every year.  I had to stop buying them.   During Mac’s one good season I didn’t have that problem.   They just don’t win enough for the ancillary things like kick off times and ease of student access to make a difference.  Even when students just had have their student ID to get into games we had student attendance issues.
