Hard to judge just how bad La Tech is, but yesterday was a dominant win. Congratulations to the team. After watching UTSA vs FIU we definitely have a shot at winning that game in SA. Like many have stated, the run game has been the difference this season.

I do wish they'd quit hyping the "streak of conference wins".  It's true, but CUSA is NOT the BIG or SEC.

This is like saying an ugly fat guy should avoid telling women he's rich.

Having potential recruits notice you're running through your conference is a good thing.

UNT's eight conference wins in a row is the third longest active streak in the country behind Cincinnati (17) and Georgia (15). Alabama lost its streak yesterday against Tennessee.

Seth has lost the fan base - This is 100% on Wren. Guess Wren is hoping the move to the American will bring them back.

Prediction - If Seth is back the conference will not matter

No one wants to watch a 30 yr old qb hand of the ball 50 times because he can’t throw. Have someone else hand it off!

Exactly. Heck it’s good to let everyone know that we’re running through the CUSA conference as we head to greener pastures in the American. I’d hate to imagine if we were in Charlotte’s shoes right now.

First time in a few years that I've seen the football team in person more than once.  Tough to see more than one when you live in California.

Anyway.

Completely different outcome than the UNLV game where I didn't feel we were that overmatched despite the lopsided loss.  Ground game continues to impress.  We really should just Dickey ball every game until someone can stop us.  Should we get an early lead on UTSA I think our ground attack can wear them down.  Aune can be effective when the defense doesn't know he's gonna throw. If we get behind and he's forced to pass, we'll get blown out.

Coach still needs 8 wins to save his job.

So much of all of this is a return to the Dickey years, with the exception of the great increase in institutional investment and much reduced difficulty of the OOC compared to those years.
