The Florida Atlantic University Owls (2-4, 1-1 C-USA) lost 45-28 on the road to the University of North Texas Mean Green (3-3, 2-0 C-USA) on Saturday evening. FAU has now lost three straight games and falls to 0-3 on the road

Prior to the game, Taggart acknowledged the threat the duo of sophomore running backs Ayo Adeyi and Oscar Adeway III posed to FAU. However, it was sophomore running back Ikaika Ragsdale who led the way for the Mean Green.

Ragsdale led both teams in all-purpose yards with 119 rushing yards and one touchdown on 16 carries. Adeyi rushed for 75 yards on six carries and Adeway III rushed for 71 yards on 16 carries.

UNT finished the game with a whopping 51 carries for 300 rushing yards.

Loved seeing Rag bust those boys up! We are looking decent in conf play so far but got a lot of football left! The output we saw Saturday must be our Std on both sides of the ball moving forward.

Ragsdale was very effective in the Wildcat, it looks like FAU wasn't prepared for it.  I hope we continue to use it but and some other things, like using the QB/Flanker for a double-pass at least once to make the defense pay attention to him out there.

He was a machine in the Wildcat!  They couldn’t stop it. It was fun to see us dominate on Saturday. 7 minute scoring drive to ice the game was gold.

And to think Jackson, Landis and Farrar are just as good and have seen limited action.  We are one position away from being almost unstoppable on offense.

When all your rb's are great, the likely cause is the offensive line is the real great unit.
