Ha!  I think when Brett makes references like this, it’s in a historical context. This season compared to the many awful seasons of the past.  Three wins away from bowl eligibility.  Two bowl wins in 20 years. Etc, etc…

So based on this logic, when we beat Arkansas we beat an SEC contender?

      I feel like the MW is going to fight like it's their last breath to get the full amount agreed upon. These two conferences are basically at war with each other, there will be no concessions. The MW also has the luxury of time, as even if they don't have 8 teams in place when their teams leave, their 2 year exemption doesn't start until 2026.

      This conspiracy theory just highlights how irrelevant this entire discussion is. Only the leadership of Pac 10 and SEC have power the financial power now. And I would tap the brakes on the ACC imploding before 2028. Unless ESPN and Fox just want to give away some money they don't have to. SMU fans aren't packing stadiums at Tulane and Memphis. And a game against SMU does not get fans of those teams to TV in a greater numbers than any other game against a decent G5 team. SMU is arrogant but not that arrogant. Unfortunately we are the only program that values getting to play games against them and MAYBE UTSA.

      So ridiculous this is a thing. If you go through puberty as a male, you are a male. I am sorry that your gender doesn't match your sex. You can do anything you want to do in your life as a woman with all the rights afforded to you by the Constitution except give birth to a baby and compete against females in organized sports who don't want to compete with you.
