A once proud Mean Green
Mauled by the Memphis Tigers
So much suffering

Old, silent fanbase
Not accustomed to winning
Sadness enshrouds us

Weary we are now
The Wren must understand us
Conquer this, he must

Not in Haiku, but

Every week when I think of our team coached by Seth

It makes me hold my breath

After each loss I want to ask Wren

When will the search begin

For the sake of everyone’s health

I hope Wren is searching in stealth

As always, a limerick

North Texas Eagles aren't soaring

Repetition is so boring

It seems that to Wren

A loss is a win

For the Tigers, Aune is scoring

There once was a team called Mean Green

Whose play could be very serene.

Their coach said aloud, as he spoke to a crowd

These losses are getting obscene.

As always, OT.

Our fans would alas and alack...

"THE SUN BELT IS HOLDING US BACK!!!!1!1!!"

But they're beating ranked teams

And living our dreams

While Littrell weekly stomps on our sacks.

It once seemed we'd reach great new heights

Through unlimited private jet flights

Perhaps our organizational chart

Should instead all depart

With pitchforked escorts by torchlight
