Winning?  Hell he isn’t worried about improving the team.  That should get you fired at any program.   No point letting him finish the year like there is no point in staying with Aune expecting him to become something he isn't.  At 30 there is no more untapped potential after this many snaps in the same offensive system.

They need to get one of the other QBs ready for the rest of the season. This was a winnable game, but was lost because of poor QB play. I can take losing, but not when we all see the obvious problem f

Honestly it wasn’t on the QB he has one bad interception. The other wasn’t his fault and neither was the bad snap. Those two don’t happen (which weren’t his fault) and we win.

He's shown nothing in his playing time to make me think he's any better. Let's try whoever is behind him.

Trouble is coming. This is the part NTs defense is not proficient at ever since skladany retired: run defense against teams intent on power running most of the time.

Watching Middle Tennessee's QB and realizing we haven't seen QB play around here since, you know who.

45-24  8:42 left  MT over Miami and they just keep putting the foot on the gas.

We have to agree to disagree because the two pick sixes were entirely his fault. The fumble was not.

If I remember correctly the first one was bobbled around and bounced to the Memphis player. If I am remembering that correctly it wasn’t on Aune.

      I'll say that I noticed this team has more attitude than previous years. Before teams would ignore other's taunting or stare downs, but these players embrace it. Even Sissoko who seems like a gentle giant stared down his guy.

      UTSA Game Poll

      UTSA is 4-0 at home and 0-5 away for 4-5 overall. NT is 3-2 at home and 2-2 away for 5-4 overall. They haven't gone thru the 3 game gauntlet NT has. Homer says we'll win by 14.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      figure one main thread to keep track of how our opponents are faring. the AAC is off to a pretty strong start...overall record of 29-7. plus currently Oregon State, High Point and Utah State / St. Bonaventure are all 3-0 - Memphis (2-0) with two quality wins v. Mizzou and UNLV. they should be undefeated (though San Francisco isn't a gimmie) heading into a 11/25 game with UCONN. - UAB (2-1)...I thought their loss to Vermont wouldn't look too bad, but UV has two pretty ugly losses now. really intriguing game tomorrow 11/15 v. High Point - FAU (2-1) look tough...their loss was by 6 to UCF who already beat then 13th A&M. - the other undefeated teams, ECU (3-0), Temple (3-0), Tulane (3-0), Tulsa (3-0), Wichita St. (2-0) collectively really haven't played much of a schedule...best win is probably WSU over WKU...but they've made pretty light work of what's in front of them. Games of interest over the next week or so: 11/14 - Northern Iowa @ Wichita State 11/15 - UAB @ HighPoint ; Temple @ Boston College ; FAU v. Charlston and Liberty (11/16) 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next)
