I really want to pick North Texas because I do think they have enough.  But I don't know if the coaching staff will slow tempo and win time of possession.

I think I have to say 34-31 Bad Guys, but I hope I'm wrong.

The defense is worrying and having huge holes against TSU is a big red flag. Our quarterbacks are still not accurate enough to get us in games. I want and hope to be proven wrong, but I am a realist. 35-10 UNLV. I will still be 100% supporting the Mean Green all 4 quarters.

UNT wins 30-21 forcing Wren to extend him for another year. With Tennessee extending their HC after starting his Vols tenure with an 8-7 record, Wren realizes he needs to do everything in his power to keep our own .500 HC in Denton. This forum lights up in flames but we still tune in to watch every week because we're mentally ill.

North Texas has success running the ball early, and UNLV keeps pace by torching our secondary (this will be a trend all year).

End of first half: 21-20, North Texas

In the second half, UNLV commits 7 players to stopping the run and leaves our receivers in single coverage.  Unfortunately, the air space above our receivers’ heads and the ground at their feet are not covered, and Aune decides to exploit this opening.

Final score: 35-28, UNLV
