The volleyball team, after starting the year a little rough, has now swept their past three opponents.  Although the competition has been a step down, TAMU-Commerce, UTA and TX Southern, it is good to see that they swept each team with little difficulty.  Hopefully this allowed the team to gel a little as there was a pretty big roster churn after last season with only six returning players out of twenty-one on the roster.

The travel to Corvallis, OR this weekend to play two matches Friday, Oregon St. and Portland, and one match against Portland State, who has beaten Oregon St. this year, on Saturday.

New coaching staff and mostly new players, it will take a while to gel.

Was not overwhelmed with this coach hire, but she should definitely be given time to develop this program. 

This team looks to have the talent but not yet the cohesion to be a good team.

      Chased NIL money and had no luck. His old coaches are no longer in a position to offer him. His only offer when he entered the portal was from A&M Commerce.

      Billy did that in the Football thread already. We had plenty of HS players play the last 2 seasons it would take awhile to sit down and navigate all that but would be fun for sure. Before the portal window I sat down along with some help and navigated our contributors. I did not include Special teams, just players that I remembered making contributions Offensive, or Defensively. The amount of young players was astonishing.
