Agree 100%.  The question is why do we bring in DII level transfers?  There is always an exception, like the QB from ACU that ended up at Western Kentucky.

The ACU QB is with us.  Austin Reed transferred from West Florida and held an offer from us at one time.

Actually we have some P5 transfers on the squad also.  If my memory is correct this is the first year that we have had a rather large influx from the lower classes.  I think that possibly Coach Bennett was responsible for most of them.  In many cases they were passed over due to size or experience.  I believe that Phil has coaching friends who alerted him of some that were overlooked.  I'm not 100% on this but I think that he said that Mazin Richards added 2-3 inches in height and about forty pounds while running 4.5 forties.  Others had superior accomplishments at the lower level.  If they can't make it at this level they won't be retained.
