You have ten years on me but our pain is shared. And you are correct, our program is cursed, and while I would like to see improvements, there are no great expectations. Still, we are both here and wanting the best for our program.

After the departure of former conference mates Houston and Memphis (!!), the AAC may not be so bad for us. As you say, there will be plenty of teams at our level so while we will not necessarily be at the top, we also should not be at the bottom every year.

Where are they going?

I wonder if we will draw more fans to the games when Memphis, ECU come to town? LATECH always had strong following.

I would think so.  And, if our football staff gets out and works hard, we should be able to recruit higher level athletes.

Until someone snatches McCasland from us.  Hope it doesn’t happen.

Money, football money, needs to be poured into that basketball program immediately. We are wasting so many resources over in that football stadium. I really appreciate what GM has done, but I feel like he's coaching his butt off and squeezing every ounce of talent out of his players. It just feels like a 0 margin for error style of basketball and I have this feeling it could easily faulter.

I am pretty sure no one got your drift...

My Mama did.
Let’s see now…We had as much of a chance vs SMU that those fenced-in deer had to escape getting shot by the deer hunters? (I did qualify it as a terrible illustration).
Hey! I’m 72 in November & am not dealing very effectively with another sacred institution (at least to me) like the NCAA follow the way of every other federal agency in the DSA (Divided States of America).
