On SMU’s long TD to put them up 31-10 towards the end of the first half I learned that our starting middle linebacker has a faster top speed than our starting safety. KD is a phenomenal athlete but Falkner has no business playing in a FBS secondary. He is just too damn slow.

25, #2 Gaddie missed the tackle but while #1 and #25 were side by side in a 70 yard pursuit I made that observation.

Why? We whopped a team we should’ve beaten last week and got whooped by a team that is way better than we are…

We Play a lot more teams we can beat the rest of the season…

Kelly Leak, "Oh you call what you've got a team?"  "The kind of baseball football you guys play is for f@&&*%$ and old farts that don't have anything better to do with their time."

I have plenty of better things to do with my time.

Because this is exactly what we can continue to expect from SL, and it is exactly what another 0.500 season looks like.

Hard to feel confident about beating 7+ teams on our remaining schedule when we just lost by 38.  Even if SMU really is that much better.
