Not sure where you got your assine information from 

 

 He transferred to Memphis from Arizona in December 2020 but didn't play last season after surgery for a right leg injury.Gunnell showed no signs of being hindered in spring practice while competing with returning starter Seth Henigan. Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield said he was pleased with how both looked during spring practice but expected the battle to continue through preseason camp.
