IMO, it is going to come down to our secondary. Despite the way people on this forum were talking about Hardison, he is a very talented QB with at least a couple really good receivers. Despite our issues at corner, our safeties and tight zone play locked down the passing game (mostly because UTEP usually only used 2 or 3 receiver sets, but still). It will be a much bigger challenge this weekend, especially considering QB run play, but if the D can stifle the backfield even half as good as we did against UTEP, we might slow them down enough to out score them.

That's if Aune and the offense can get it done, because I don't think the SMU defense will let us run much.

They really squandered a lot of opportunities until the 4th quarter rolled around. They easily could have been ahead by that score much earlier in the game in Dallas.
