Speaking of student loan forgiveness, the NY Times published a very interesting article concerning the salaries of college graduates after a specific number of years. What a study found is that a great many grads do not make as much as the average high school graduate (28,000). 

If you download the spreadsheet, you will see that about 75% of UNT grads make more than a HS grad. This is somewhat lower than our peer institutions like Houston and Tech and a great deal lower than schools like UT, SMU, and A&M.

If there is an upside, we are in good company. There are many schools, well-known and not so well-known, doing much worse.
