Was hoping to see Mason Fine but it may be too soon for that.

Yep.  A player has to be five years removed from the program to be eligible.  So I'd think 2024 (or possibly 2025) is the earliest Mason could be nominated.

This is a unique group in that they are all very deserving.  Congrats to each of them.

Side note:  Brelan is maybe my all time favorite.  He was fun to watch.

About half the times Brelan got the ball on a jet sweep or a quick-out, and just about every time he returned a kick, my body involuntarily stood up, anticipating something amazing about to happen.

And more times than not, it seems it did.

Brelan had a gift for twitch/shiftiness and speed.  Seems like we get that, what? once every 15-20 years? Someone who has both.

I dunno, the Littrell-recruited Darden and Dodge-recruited Brelan were only like 5 years apart.

Darden had the twitch, but did not have Brelan-level speed.

Who do you think was the last one before Brelan? McGrew?
