DRC: This week's North Texas newsletter is out and features the opener of a two-part series on UNT's move to the American. Is UNT prepared for the jump?

@Brett VitoHow about a story on the backgrounds of the different O-Coordinations/QB Coaches in the AAC? While most schools highlight the innovative passing and rushing games, ours get recognized for his blocking schemes. Hope I am wrong, but it does raise a concern.

What Administration needs to recognize it all starts with football. If we are average in football we will average 19,000 fans. Schools like Memphis and ECU will eat our lunch. We will be in last place in football and mediocre in all other sports vs all other American teams.

Hope I am wrong!  #GMG

Serious question, with Cincy, UCF, Houston leaving and programs like Rice, FAU and Charlotte coming in, is it really much of a jump?

Is this a serious question? Have you seen what CUSA looks like now?

When asking these questions, always a good idea to factor in the change in conference revenue (media contracts, NCAA payouts, etc).  Not just the lineup of teams/schools.

Getting away from Judy is a jump over Pikes Peak...
