Ex Louisiana Tech coach just led the Birmingham Stallions(10-1) to the USFL championship.

152-121 as a college head coach, 8-3 in bowl games.

Wonder what he could do at a place like UNT?

What happened to him his last two years at La Tech?  What ever it was he seems to have turned it around at Birmingham.

From what I could find at about a million a year in Birmingham you would have to throw some cat shit at him for him to consider leaving.

Funny how Louisiana Tech fan, honestly like most fans would do after coach left, talked about how he had lost his coaching touch and wasn't able to do the job anymore. Guess maybe this was actually a case of a change of scenery doing him best

I think Seth needs a change of scenery.

Seriously, a coach on the downhill slope at his current job can re-invent himself at another opportunity.

Does he have a weird fetish or something? Most coaches prefer money.

I mean, it is the USFL...

Still knows how to win regardless. Other USFL coaches went 1-8

I guess so. His win percentage as a college head coach was .546.

Yeah but his big failure was being 16-21 with SoFla.

Otherwise, he's been a consistent winner - 3 winning seasons at UCONN, 4 straight winning seasons at ECU and 6 straight at La Tech, including 6 straight bowl wins , all schools had rough budgets. Granted, maybe that's his niche.
