Can we expect more entries into the portal? I don't think there is a formal cutoff date, but the timing of this seems especially difficult for him to find a new home.

wut? is he planning on playing this year? it's tough to get enrolled in classes midway through the summer in general. i can't imagine changing schools and trying to find a team?

others maybe more versed but I thought there was a drop dead date for entering the portal in order to be immediately eligible, maybe back in April or May

I’m all for these dudes getting the money they’ve long deserved, but feels like there needs to be some sort of transfer window implemented. Once a certain date has passed, you’re locked into that team for the next season OR have to sit out if you do wish to leave. 2 months before the season is rough.

I’m just gonna show up/tune in and watch the 11 on our team on offense and the 11 on our team on defensive (whoever they are) and hope that at the end of the game, we have more points than they do.

You don't have to "find" a team when a team has already reached out to you and made an offer ($$$MU$$$).

I believe that was the case last year, at least for basketball. Pretty sure last year the deadline was June 30th, again, at least for basketball. Sounds like this is under consideration at an NCAA meeting next week, but not sure what the current rule in place is.
