Well he had 59 tackles at his JC so maybe he was hurt at UCF?  Uninspiring to say the least.

At this point in time with the portal I don't think we will be landing many (if any) instant impact players.  I'm fine with taking a chance on an FBS transfer as a potential depth piece rather than another random juco player.  

If he works out great, if he doesn't he's gone next year and we can fill the scholarship hole.

He was suspended from Virginia Tech and seems to have been basically kicked off the team after being there for 3 months, you sure about that?

Not only that, anyone entering the portal after May 1 is not immediately eligible and would have to sit out a year unless they are a grad transfer.
