It appears that pitcher Janie Worthington has entered the transfer portal:

Immediate thought: it seems not even skyrocketing program success can convince some of these players to stay.

Second thought: what's on your mind, Janie? What is compelling you to leave?

Just recalled that the freshman pitcher came in and performed nicely in the postseason.  If that memory is correct, it probably has a lot to do with Janie's decision.

Savage played heavily throughout the season, not just the postseason. Wild stat they mentioned on the Ok State telecast: Savage and Peters pitched 95% of all innings this past season.

Worthington, the transfer pitcher from UAB and our other freshman pitcher were all injured forcing Peters and Savage to carry the load.
