It is a higher level.  There have been pro chosen every year from DII ranks.  Jerry rice was a product of DII ball.

Wrong. MVSU's last year of D2 ball was in 1979. Rice played there from 1981-1984

That still doesn’t change the fact that 18 D2 players were chosen this year.

He has a quick step off the ball and was relentless in pursuing the ball.

Some of the OTs he went up against had terrible footwork. I'm interested to see how he does against FBS OL.

The Murphys put on 15-20 pounds per year, there is no reason this guy can’t be 235-240 when the season rolls around. He’ll be 255 or 260 in 2023.

My hope is he plays linebacker or hybrid position. Maybe like the Murphy's did the previous year.

Not well

For clarification, are you stating JUCO is better than DII or vice versa?

A lot of jucos would destroy D11 schools.

And you base that on?

Because JUCOs have a lot of FBS/FCS bouncebacks. D2 guys are D2 for a reason. Top level JUCOs could have 10-20 guys on the roster that were former FBS recruits. And a lot of JUCO players that aren't bouncebacks are only there for grades, otherwise they'd be in an FBS program. They're then recruited to FBS/FCS schools after a year or two of getting their grades in order.

I bow to your superior understanding of college football. Still, could you be more specific about the superiority!

Sounds like a great kid!  Glad to have him on board!

Love it, up to nearly 250 already. Kid is going to be a force. I especially like that he isn’t razzled or dazzled by anemones.

I'm fairly certain you are confusing D2 with FCS.  I am reading 5 were chosen in the draft this year and that is a high number for D2.

Possibly you are also including UFA’s?
