Anybody know anything at all about Desi Sills, guard from Arkansas State? Played 3 years at Arkansas before that. Wondering if he'd be a fit with losing 2 of our starting guards but I know nothing about his playing style.

Some numbers... Not really impressed by his three point shooting numbers but he did average 1.8 steals per game which would have been 1st on our team. Averaged just under 11 PPG in a starting role at Arkansas 3 years ago and just under 13 PPG at Arkansas State this past season.

Tylor Perry retweeted his transfer announcement so hopefully we’re in touch.

Yeah I agree. Perry is reminding me of Bryce English and how big he was in putting UNT out there for other recruits and transfers to see.

There's a bunch of transfers out there who I can see being difference makers for us. UAB did what they did this year on the heels of transfers. I'm hopeful we can find impactful D1 transfers as well.

Absolutely. And a lot of these guys he is reaching out to seem like the right fit. Guys who have played college basketball, had success, but want to make the most of their final year or two by both

1. Starting

2. Playing deep into March

Would salivate at being able to grab either. Especially Linguard, he would give Abou a much needed push in practice and rest when he needs it.

I'm not too familiar with basketball transfer procedures. If he transfers within the conference (to UNT), can he play immediately or does he have to sit out 1 year unless he gets a waiver from FIU.

Doesn't make any difference unless the conference has exceptions
