Even if we lose at UTEP, which I assume we will, at least we will get some rhythm before the SMU game and hopefully not sh*t the bed at home.

I'm going to predict 6-6. Even if we're only 3-3 at the break, I don't think that'll sink us. LA Tech and FAU are at home. UTSA is not on Thanksgiving weekend so that'll give more Green fans the ability to travel.

Texas Southern is the only team we might win against.

Any other wins will be sheer luck.

I am betting worst attended season ever!

Thanks for Keeping A Failed Head Coach, Wren.

Texas Southern, FIU, and Rice are the only games we win. UNLV and La Tech will be close, but who knows.

Best outcome 5-7, probable outcome 4-8 (Seth Littrell special).

2023 new coach and new conference.

Go Mean Green!

Lets play the game:

We beat UTEP

We lose to SMUT

We beat Southern

We lose to UNLV

We lose to Memphis

We lose to FAU

We lose to LATECH

We lose to UTSA

We lose to Western Ky

Beat FIU

Lose to UAB

Beat Rice

Record 4-8, SL comes back to lead to defeats in AAC.   We didn't fire him last year why would next year be different. After all he wins two out his last three.  We see improvement.

I am not to excited about this year football schedule.

Wins over UTEP, TX Southern, UNLV, FAU, La Tech, FIU, and Rice.

We go 7-5.

SL gets extension.

We get our ass kicked in a bowl game against some G5 team.

Perhaps our future American conference partners will let us win in hope we sign Seth to a long-term extension

I have bad news for you about week 1:
Hardison returns.
Both of their top rushers return.
Their top 3 tacklers return.
And that bad, bad man, Praise Amaewhule returns.
Their only tough loss is Cowing (which, admittedly, is huge).
We beat them at home last season... barely.  And we lost quite a bit from last year.   If this game were later in the season... maybe we'd have a shot.   But breaking in a bunch of guys against this team at the Sun Bowl is going to be tough.

That's a L.

Now, I will say... WKU may not be a loss as you've stated.   They lost basically their entire offense (most importantly, coach Kittley).  I could see us winning that one.   I could also see us beating LATech if Coach Cumbie can't get his team to buy-in by the time we play them.

Why does everyone think UTEP is an easy win?

Speaking of QB room, have you looked at LA Tech's?

Last year they had Austin Kendall, Luke Anthony, Aaron Allen, J.D. Head and Caleb Holstein.  They are all gone this year.  Kendall graduated, Anthony entered the portal two days ago, Allen transferred to Alcorn St., Head is at UNT and Holstein is MIA.

They picked up a transfer from TCU (Matthew Downing), from TX Tech (Parker McNeil) and have two freshmen.  Could be a tough year one for Cumbie.
