The golfers are down in Florida. Its a good tournament with the two highest ranked C-USA teams and a number of other ranked teams. NTs men have been better of late than in the first half of the season when they were very inconsistent. Maybe -who knows - if NT can put in a very good performance they can move within the vicinity of where an at large becomes at least thinkable.

First round started ok, but the end was bad, with lots of bogies and some double bogies. NT ended round 1 on 10th spot.Start to the second round hasn't been much better. Currently NT is 13th out of 15.

UNT played slightly better in round 3, but the 1.5 rounds of total suckitude led to a 13th spot out of 15. That kills any potential hope for an at large. What is further sobering when thinking of having to get the conference championship is that conference mate Charlotte finished second behind only the hosts, a full 34 shots (!) better than NT
