"...UNT has done just that throughout the season and will have a big stage to do so again in the latest in a string of rare high-profile home games. The Mean Green hosted Oklahoma in 2019, LSU in 2011, Texas Tech in 2010, Oklahoma State in 2007 and Indiana in 2003."

High-profile is a loose term here.  None of those schools were ranked when we played them in the SuperPit.  They are all high-athletic budget schools from high-profile conferences, and a couple could be considered historical National basketball programs.

The highest-profile home basketball game NT ever hosted in the SuperPit was DePaul in December 1980.  DePaul was ranked #1 in the AP poll when we played them, losing by six, 92-86.
