I figured I'd start a convo for the other games so we can discuss some of our potential opponents going forward (of course if we lose, this will be a really short thread).

Belmont looks very good early.

Also, flipping between the three NIT games, I haven't heard anything about the 6 foul rule change for the tournament.  I had read that info on wikipedia, but perhaps they decided not to do it after all.  I figure it would have been mentioned!

Man, Osun Osunniyi is a LOAD for St. Bonnaventure.  The Groves bros are going to have their hands full with this guy.
Hoping we take care of business this weekend, & if the Bonnies can beat OU, force them to travel cross-country 3 different times in a week.  That would surely play to our advantage, right?  All that travel would have to be exhausting.

Home teams went 7-2 last night.  Not a surprise given the better seeds are supposed to host (though neither Dayton nor MSU does tonight because their arenas already had stuff scheduled), so they have the double advantage of being better on paper AND at home.

I guess the big question is how many road teams can win tonight.

I think you got your dates mixed up.  Actually, dates are right, but the rounds were mixed up.

Quarterfinals: 22-23

Semifinals: 29th

Flipping between the Big Dance and scouting some of our potential future opponents in the Final (Oregon and A&M).  Aggies out in force.  We need that kinda crowd tomorrow.

Aggies probably think they are in the big dance...don't spoil it for them by telling them it is the NIT.

Home teams now 4-0 with Xavier's win.

Dayton is on the road again because their home arena is being used for the State HS Basketball tournament.  Might be tough for the Flyers to win another road game to advance.
