We will have an extra day or two to promote, a weekend game, end of spring break, and power conference opponent. Hoping for double that this weekend.

Hard to say.  UVA is offensively challenged and defensively stout like us.  I'm not as familiar with MSU this year, but Howland usually has solid defensive teams.

Just got home.   Pass the lisinopril.  That was a nail-biter!

Thought the officiating was pretty bad this game, but at least it went both ways.   I thought McCasland's lip was going to get him a Technical late as he was just laying into those guys, while TXSt's coach was politely chatting with the refs.
TXSt was a really good team.  No wonder they were regular-season champs in the SBC.  Hats off to those guys.  They put together 2 really good runs on us in the 2nd half that put our backs to the wall.  So glad the good guys responded to both.
The brief moment I started to lose hope was after 4 wasted trips up the floor (2 straight turnovers, followed by back-to-back bricks that Drez put up) where the Bobcats opened up a huge lead with an alley-oop dunk that lit up the TXSt fans, then a 3-ball to put them up 8 with 3:20 left.  The hot-ass air left the room there when that 3 went in.   Seriously, it was really hot in there.
But right out of that Timeout, Drez conquered his little demon & shot again, draining a clutch 3.  The crowd got back in it, then it was lock-down time, & Tylor took over the last minute.    Listening to the postgame show on the drive home, they asked him if he was surprised he got the call at the end, and he said, "No, I thought I did a good acting job to get the call."    Love that guy.

I felt good all overtime, even when the Bobcats briefly took a lead early.   

I thought Rubin played a great game tonight and hit some clutch FT's.  I thought his defense really frustrated Asberry.
Obviously Drez was shooting unconsciously (outside of those 2 horrible shots mentioned earlier) on his way to a career-high 24.  Great game from him.   Hank coined the nickname "March-drez" for him.   We'll see if it sticks.

Can't wait for this weekend.  If it's Virginia, get ready for a race to 40pts to decide the winner!  Gonna be a sludgy game.

Lots of our normal season ticket holders were missing in my section... which i thought was weird.  Also lots of people just Southwest Airlines-ing it and picking their own seats especially since they took the Season Ticket sashes off the seats.  People who were in our seats asked if we would sit in different seats a few seats over, I just said those are my good luck SEASON TICKET holder seats.  They sorta rolled their eyes and went and took someone else's seats.

I also want to sit behind Craig Robertson every game. Love that dude and all the jaw jacking he was giving a TXST fan that was upset about bad calls at the end of the game, but was just fine with them at the beginning.
