After watching all the games tonight it's apparent we will play UAB in the final if we win tomorrow.  I just don't see MUTS hanging with them although I was impressed they way they played UTEP tonight but they blew a big lead and almost let it slip away.  UAB is still the most talented team left but are they the best team?  I hope not.  Beating La Tech tomorrow will be tough.

GMG! Beat the Bulldogs!

I wouldn't write off MTSU yet.  UAB has looked kinda scratchy and the Blue Raiders have a lot of talent too.

yeah, i have more faith in MTSU beating UAB after seeing what they did tonight... both games tomorrow should be really good.

If Josh Jefferson was healthy I would agree with you.

La Tech and North Texas combined have more fans than the sideline seating can accommodate.

GET THERE EARLY!!!

GET THERE EARLY!!!

GET THERE EARLY!!!

GET THERE EARLY!!!

And in case you didn't get that...

GET THERE EARLY!!!

Be at doors by 10:00, seating starts at 10:30, tipoff is 11:30

Get there early or you'll be watching from the balcony, or worse, from the other court area.

After our loss to UTEP, I posted in another thread that the only path to NCAA tourney would be through the auto-bid now; I got down votes for pointing out this reality. We were fortunate to be in the 30's in the NET given we had only a total of two Quad 1 games, and went 1-1. Most of the teams in the Top 40 have numerous to extensive Quad 1 games. Then we lose to UTEP, and I think that pretty much ended our chances of getting into the NCAA tourney in any other way than through auto-bid. We need to win-out to cap off a great season, but will be tough with Tech and UAB or MUTS left to play. I know we are autobid for NIT but I want that NCAA tourney again!

It SHOULD be a problem. But it won’t be.

not so fast......we are back to 39 this morning.  Have to win today of course to have any chance of at large.  The cut off last year was 42 I think....

La tech-101

I’m not standing outside in this cold at 10:00 for 30 minutes haha

I’ll be waiting in my truck at 10:25 and start walking

Win the tourney and get that 11 seed in Ft.Worth!

If it’s hypothetically us and UAB tomorrow it will be interesting to see if UAB can hold that 50 spot if we beat them. That would be another quad 1 and maybe get us to 11 line.
