A 12 seed would be really nice. Also, not much love for a 2 bid C-USA as expected.

If NT runs the C-USA tourney, we should sniff an 11-seed, and if we stay locked in a 12, we should get a favorable draw VS the "lowest" 5 seed.
NT really needs to make the C-USA final, win or lose, that way if we don't win, we wind up on the bubble and if chips fall the right way (like Michigan, Xavier, SMU all bow out of their tourneys early), we might somehow get in (probably in a play-in game as THE last team in).
And if we don't get in, we get a 1 seed as one of the "first 4 out" in the NIT.

Preface:  Let's just friggin 3-peat C-USA so we don't have to worry about all of this...

That said: So far, South Dakota St, Loyola Chicago, Murray St., & Chattanooga in a wild one, have all done their parts (especially Loyola-Chicago who were right on the bubble with us, took an auto-bid & knocked UNI out completely) to help us.

Now, we root against:
SMU (That's not difficult! And preferably to the Shockers to boost our NET ever-so-slightly)
Xavier (Let's go Butler!)
Wyoming (C'mon Runnin' Rebels!)
Memphis (again, preferably to the Shockers in the Semis.. but then the Shockers need to lose.)
Indiana (1st game VS Michigan, who is also on the bubble, but their NET is way higher than Indiana's and ours.  They'll likely get in ahead of us either way... so Go Big Blue!)
Dayton (Really, we shouldn't worry too much about Dayton, unless they happen to knock off Davidson in the Finals and take an auto-bid spot, which would put Davidson on the bubble with us, and Davidson would likely get in over us as all bracketologies so far have them with the 11 seed as an AQ over us as it stands.  But if they could go ahead and lose to VCU who then loses to Davidson, that would be perfect)
Virginia Tech (Lets go Clemson or Notre Dame!)
And for some reason, Rutgers (Their NET is terrible so if they lose to Iowa, they're gone.)

Down goes wake forest

Ooh.  That can either hurt or help depending on how far Wake falls (currently 3 ahead of us in NET rankings).  If they wind up on the bubble with us, they might get selected over us.  If they fall far enough (BC gets bounced hard next round), then it should open up the bubble for us a little more.

They're 1-4 in quad 1 games, and this one will be a bad quad 3 loss.  Hopefully they fall hard.

Butler needs to come on!

That Xavier/Butler end of regulation is why I'm always hesitant to tell your team to foul when you're ahead.  Sure I'm sure they told the kid to foul if they were up 3, but he just got FOUL, and he did.

Don't even put that in their heads - lol.

Go Butler!

OU screwing some mid-majors by beating Baylor, they are now probably in even if they lose tomorrow, also TCU beat Texas, so assume they are fully in now as well.

TCU was already solidly in after beating Texas tech.

Sooooo... Vanderbilt beat Bama and Iowa State is down by 30 to Texas Tech. Do y'all think Bama and Iowa State are still in? Regarding Iowa State, I realize Texas Tech is tough but losing to 30 doesn't exactly scream at-large bid.

They are both in.
