Here is a photo of the end of one of the women’s games. Maybe I’ll take some pictures during the men’s games

talk about keeping the crowd far from the action, could grief the setup looks so cheap. Typical for CUSA unfortunately

It’s really fine. My photo makes it seem farther. I was also at the very top of the lower seating bowl

But still, look at all of that space between the front row of the stands and media row.   That's gotta be what? at least 20 feet?   ... just dead space.
Why not move the court & those temp stands where the bands are closer to the actual seating?

Side note re:UTSA/So.Miss

@Andrew will be happy to know that UTSA is set up for more success moving forward in the tournament as they had an eight man rotation as compared to those idiots from Southern Miss who only played seven players. So. Miss is so screwed now. what were they thinking?

They were saving their players’ legs for the next game.

The Star is a terrible venue for basketball.

So awful to be able to drive just up the road and easily park and walk in to watch r team play….

oh…. Also so awful to be able to see multiple games at once and not have to leave the venue to see another team… also how awful to be in walking distance if good food…. How awful….

No one said anything bad about the location, but I also think you’re just overly happy they can sub in a second court if the first one gets worn out.

The A10 tournament is being held in the Capital One Arena (DC).  Looks amazing and makes me feel ashamed of what we are using in DFW.

The CAA was also held in DC.

Aaaannndd, getting back to actually talking about basketball games…Rice is running back door courts on pretty much every play.

Unless Charlotte finds a solution, we’ll see the Owls tomorrow

No one wants to play UTEP right now.  They are going to be an extremely tough out.  Glad they are on the other side of the bracket.  They are a different team with Keonte Kennedy back.
