Oh, I agree that it never should have come down to the final seconds since we scored 21 points in the first quarter. The good is that they didn’t give up and fought back and won.

The refs were bad, very bad.

OK, so there was the Good, the Bad, and the Lady Roadrunners. Whah Whah  Whah

This was former North Texas women's coach Karen Aston coming back to North Texas determined not to lose.

The Roadrunners fought back to tie the game and then had what appeared to be an insurmountable 7 point lead in the final two minutes. The UTSA players were all dancing and hugging their coach with congratulations.

Then Maddie and Quincy dashed their celebrations and sent the shocked UTSA team pouting to the locker rooms. They'll have the whole bus ride to Rice to whine about the stolen opportunity.
