I couldn't get the video link to work for me so not sure exactly what happened.  Will say this, we should all be inclusive of all people - no matter what their race and gender, difference etc... and anyone who says otherwise should go stick it!  I do believe the vast majority of the population agrees on this.

Saw a comment on Twitter showing the leader of the YCT group being escorted out of a program because people were protesting, screaming profanities an threatening violence.  Is this the same event?

ok ill go first.  Lets be inclusive and just care for each other.  As with any progress in society there are a few finer points that we should come together and work out.  I don't believe biological men should compete in female sports and vice versa.  I believe a minimum age needs to be determined for gender transition.  That's all.

It relates to automobiles. You have a stick shift and then along comes the automatic transmission and some experts try to convince you that it is better. A debate ensues and thus you have "pro-trans" vs "anti-trans". This can be confusing for some.

Serious question, what is the connection between fascism and anti-trans? I don’t know the guy’s story which is why I’m asking. I’m trying to understand why they yell f’ing fascist instead of something like transphobic bastard.

I realize there has been an attempt in recent years to redefine gender, and that the redefinitions are now commonly being taught to impressionable young minds.  But no, gender is the same as sex and it is binary.

in 1950 "gay" pretty much exclusively meant happy and carefree. 

language changes and adapts to the times. your only personal biases and reluctance to evolve don't change societal advancements in language, nuance and understanding. 

and...let's be honest...nothing has been taught, redefined and engrained in "impressionable young minds" for hundreds of years more than religion...so maybe the piety tract isn't the best for you to follow.

We are not talking about the general evolution (or even devolution) of language.  We are talking about the deliberate attempt to redefine a word that means what it means in order to push an agenda.  That's really a side-issue anyway, because these folks' "definition" of gender has become like trying to nail Jello to a wall. 

I'm all for teaching impressionable young minds things that are true, and how to think critically--that is, how to analyze whether something they are hearing is true.  But feeding them the idea (don't even think about disagreeing!) that there is an infinite number of genders from which one can choose--or invent one yourself!--is against biological fact and is potentially destructive to their well-being.
